Last month, George Rousseau traveled all the way up to Palmer, Alaska — about 50 miles northeast of Anchorage — to help with the Valley Jazz Festival.

The festival brought in middle school and high school students from all over Alaska to perform with and learn from professional jazz musicians.  A music educator, multi-instrumentalist, and friend of Elderly Instruments, Rousseau taught two drum clinics and a vintage guitar Nashville clinic at the festival. We were happy to send some free accessories to help with the vintage guitar Nashville clinic. As you can see from the photo above, it looks like the students had a great experience.
